New Barr Foundation Website Now Live

In 2010, we worked with the Barr Foundation (Boston, MA) to overhaul its visual identity and design and develop a new website. In a year that saw the Foundation step up as one of New England's strongest advocates working to mitigate the effects of climate change, 2010 was also the year that the Barr Foundation honed its communications strategy and partnered with Gracombe IT Solutions to set in motion a plan to strengthen its presence on the Web. We're proud to announce the launch today of the new website at www.barrfoundation.org.

We worked with the Barr Foundation to develop a new logo as well as create a revamped design and information architecture for a new website. The new site features detailed content describing Barr's grantmaking strategies, improved information about the Barr Fellows program, a News & Knowledge area available as an RSS feed, and the publishing of some of the Foundation's grants from 2010. The online grants database is a first for the Foundation, and our GivingData product is what makes it possible, using our turnkey web service to publish grants data from the grants management database up to the website for display. Using GivingData's Grants Publisher module, Barr now has a fully automated grants publishing solution with seamless integration into the ExpressionEngine content management and web application framework.
